• One hour theory explanation of sailing rules and because you have to deal with both the BPR and the RPR
• How to navigate crossings on the river and how to take into account other shipping.
• Position on the water when sailing
• Getting the ship ready for sailing.
• 2 hours manoeuvring in the harbour, mooring, how to handle the lines
• How do I communicate as a skipper, crew member with others.

At the end of the course, the instructor will assess whether you can safely go on the water. If this is not the case, the boat rental will not take place or an extra lesson must be booked.
